Beachfront home
Our beachfront home offers five bedrooms in three separate units and can sleep a total of 10 people. Relax on the upstairs patio and enjoy the view over Bekbaai, or step out for a stroll on the quiet and unspoilt stretch of beach. Bo Sig is situated just five minutes from the restaurants and shops of central Paternoster.
The old beauty of the West Coast
The oldest fishing village on the West Coast… past and present meet in Paternoster, meaning ‘our father’ in Latin, where life is still closely connected to the sea, with fishermen heading out in traditional wooden boats (bakkies) to catch snoek in winter and crayfish in summer. The boats provide a splash of colour on the picturesque beach, and visitors can buy fish fresh as they come into shore.
Paternoster is watched over by the last manned lighthouse built in South Africa, Cape Columbine, standing tall in the nearby nature reserve.
